Showroom hours, how a job starts, and how each trade runs from Lovejoy Road.
Getting started
Do I need an appointment?
Weekdays 9–4 you can walk in. Saturday is by appointment only. Sunday we are closed. If you want Kara, Amy, or Wesley at the table with samples pulled, call (850) 243-8111 and put a time on the calendar.
Where is the showroom?
622 Lovejoy Road NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548. Cabinets, flooring, tile, and stone samples live here. Artistic Stoneworks, our countertop shop, is part of the same operation.
How does a job start?
Walk the samples. We measure the house. You approve a finish schedule — cabinets, stone, tile, floor — then we order and install. Design, order, and install run through this studio so you are not holding four vendors together.
Do you work outside Fort Walton Beach?
Yes, when the drive is honest. Destin, Niceville, Crestview, Navarre, Gulf Breeze, Pace, Miramar Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, and 30A are regular trips. Ask if your street is not on that list.
What is the warranty?
One year on materials and labor for work we sold and installed. Manufacturer warranties on some products run longer; we help you use them. Details are on the warranty page.
Kitchens
What does a full kitchen remodel include?
Layout, cabinetry, countertops from Artistic Stoneworks, backsplash, and the floor when the floor is part of the job. We do not treat those as four separate bids that meet in the middle of a window.
Can you do a kitchen without moving walls?
Often. Many Fort Walton Beach and Destin kitchens need new boxes, stone, and a floor — not a structural redraw. We will say so after we measure, not before.
Do you handle the backsplash with the counters?
Yes. Tile or slab backsplash is specified against the stone so the joint at the window and the range is planned. See full kitchen remodeling for how that room is drawn.
How long does a kitchen take?
It depends on the cabinet line, the stone, and what else is in the house. We give a calendar after selections are locked — not a guess on the first walk-through.
Bathrooms
Do you remodel a whole bath or only the shower?
Both. Full bathroom remodeling, walk-in showers, and tub surrounds are separate pages because they are different jobs. The vanity and the tile are still specified together.
Can you replace a tub with a walk-in shower?
That is a common request on this coast. We look at the pan, the drain, and the wall before we promise a curb-less opening. Start with walk-in showers if that is the only room in play.
Will the bath match the kitchen if both are in the job?
That is the point of one studio. Hardware, stone, and tile are sampled on the same visit so the hall bath does not look like a different house.
Do you do waterproofing in the shower?
The shower is built as a wet room, not tile stuck on drywall. We will walk that assembly when we measure.
Cabinetry
Which cabinet lines do you carry?
KraftMaid Vantage, Medallion, Marsh, and CNC, plus Hardware Resources for pulls and organizers. You walk doors in the showroom — we do not order a box from a photo you liked on a phone.
Can I replace doors and keep the boxes?
Sometimes. If the boxes are square and the layout still works, a door-and-finish refresh is cheaper than a full gut. If the layout is the problem, new boxes are the honest answer. That decision happens after we measure.
Do vanities come from the same lines as kitchen cabinets?
Often yes, so the bath and the kitchen can share a finish. Vanities can also be specified on their own. See cabinetry for kitchens, vanities, and hardware.
Are organizers part of the cabinet order?
They should be. Pull-outs, trays, and hardware are easier to get right when they ride with the box order instead of as a second trip after you live with empty drawers.
Countertops
Who fabricates the counters?
Artistic Stoneworks, our countertop shop. Templates come off the cabinets you approved, not off a drawing that hoped the boxes would land square.
Granite or quartz?
Both. Natural stone and quartz are on the floor. Quartz is the usual pick when you want a consistent pattern and less sealing. Granite and other stone still belong in rooms that want movement in the slab. Walk both before you decide.
Can I buy a slab and have you install it?
We would rather sell and fabricate the stone we are expected to warrant. Material you bought elsewhere is a different conversation — ask before you write that check. Read countertops for natural stone and quartz.
When do you template?
After the cabinets are set and the job is ready for a true field measure. Templating off a drawing alone is how sinks miss the rail.
Flooring
What floors do you install?
Tile, hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, laminate, and carpet. The line on each page is what we sample in the showroom.
What holds up to sand and wet feet?
Tile and luxury vinyl are the usual Emerald Coast answers for rooms that see the beach. Hardwood still belongs in rooms that stay dry and are not a rental week. We will say which is which after we see the house.
Should the kitchen floor match the hall?
If they meet, yes — or they should be a planned change, not an accident. That is why flooring is sampled next to the cabinet door and the slab, not as a separate warehouse trip. Start at flooring.
Do you move furniture and take up the old floor?
We plan demo and put-back with the job. What we move and what you clear is written into the measure so install day is not a surprise.
